VERIFICATION OF SANITATION EXEMPTION OR REDUCTION OF FEE:
If you are currently being exempt from paying sanitation fees or receiving a reduced sanitation fee each month, you must present proof of age and sign an updated form to continue to receive this exemption. The forms are available in the water department at City Hall, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. til 5:00 pm. You must come in with proof of age by May 1, 2009 or the monthly sanitation fee of $14.95 wil be added back to your bill.
This is your responsibility!!

UTILITY RATE INCREASE
The utility rates for water, sewerage, and garabage services have increased for all residents and business owners. This increase will be reflected on the May 1, 2009 billing.

ORDINANCE NEWS
The City of East Dublin has enacted a new nusiance ordinance as of March 9, 2009. This ordinance requires all homeowners to keep their property clean and devoid of all junk, including junk cars and old appliances. Included in this ordinance is a provision that all new and existing homes must meet Georgia Building Codes before being occupied. This ordinance will be strictly enforced.
The City would also like to remind all home and business owners that the City has a street numbering ordinance. This ordinance requires all home/business owners to affix their street number upon their home/business.

YARD DEBRIS
In order for the city to pick up yard debris or other material, it must be placed at the edge of the road and seperated as follows:

1. Leaves, pinestraw and small shrub trimmings
2. Limbs, tree branches, large shrub trimmings
3. Lumber and building products (not to include shingles)
4. Appliances and/or metal
5. Furniture, mattresses, carpet, etc.

All limbs that are placed for pickup must be cut so as not to exceed four (4) feet in length and six(6) inches in diameter. You must call the city hall at 272-6883 to request pickup of any of the above items.
